After having such an incredible result using the wonderful EM Acoustics products at Opa Saint Tropez, the Opa Dubai team naturally wanted to see their older system upgraded to the same level of performance, sound quality and output.

After internal engineering works, the design was presented to Opa’s Head of Audio, for which final adjustments and amendments were made to ensure the system would fit in with the interior décor and layout of the venue. As a result, a combination of the superbly powerful EMS101X speakers were chosen for the main Dining zones, with background and near fill EMS61X units in the Lounge and Reception areas.

Completing the system was both a Xilica QR1 DSP platform and an immensely versatile Linea Research 88C series amplifier – 8-channels of more than 1000watts of power in a 2U rack space! The net result was more than we hoped for – very happy operators, DJs and of course the Head of Audio too.
