The famous French Restaurant Nightclub has landed in Dubai. French flair, French flavour, French sounds all go into making Raspoutine one of the most sought after venues in Paris, Miami and now Dubai.
The venue immediately stands out from the rest in Dubai with its rich, velvet lined walls and heavy carpet; red is the theme, everywhere. Red lights, red chairs, red seats, red canopies, and red speakers too! The team expected nothing less than perfection for their AV requirements, which led them to engaging Levels AV to design, install and manage the systems within the venue.
A powerful L-Acoustics sound system was appointed in the space to be able to handle the late night, sound pressure levels required. Although limited due to noise pollution considerations, the system can generate greater than 110dBA continuosuly across the main dancefloor via the A10 and KS21 speaker setup deployed. Compimentary speakers and subs, X12 and SB15m provide near field covergae for the raised dining areas. The system is controlled and governed by a Xilica FR1D processor system, 6 LA4X amplifiers; and a DatEQ SPL monitoring system provides visual awareness to the sound pressure levels within the main area.
A discrete show lighting package was provided to lift visual effect when the restaurant shifts into nightclub mode, as well as, to create visual effect during dinner operations. Dinner time shows feature RGBW LED spots, 12 in total, in combination with compact moving mirror balls (x3) along the ceiling line. This is then supported with 6 Moving Head B-Eye wash beam and 150-watt Beam Led moving head lights. Control is done via an Avolites system with a Novation Launchpad control pad allowing show triggers.
One the significant undertakings the project offered was the time frames for completion. Special conditions were placed upon the opening times and as a result the entire project was completed in under 3 months from sign off. A great result by all parties involved!
